Chapped lip?: Allergy to lip balm is very uncommon but if it does cause problem, it will likely present with itchy, peeling, swollen , or chapped lips starting 24-72 hours after application from contact allergy which is different from the allergic reaction causing nasal and eye symptoms.

Stop lip balm: First, stop using that particular lip balm.Then go to your doctor, who probably give you some antihistaminic.

You could try 1%: hydrocortisone cream or ointment,but you might need something stronger by prescription  only. Hope this helps!

Contact allergy: This may well be from an allergic reaction to the mango but the new lip balm may also be a cause.  If you have had problem with poison oak/poison ivy in the past, you are more likely to get a delayed allergic reaction (24-72 hrs after exposure) to mango.  Obviously the best treatment is avoidance.

Highly unlikely: would use balm after eating and at bedtime to avoid this problem.

Lip balm: Assuming you are applying lip balm on your lips or skin, any common drug store lip balm should be fine.  Petroleum jelly is an old favorite.

Lip Balm use: That is one of many lip balms available on the market. With the understanding that I am not a specialist in this area, i would think your sex plays no role as far as a reason not to use it. What is best for you can be best answered by your own physician or a dermatologist, depending upon the reason for the dry lips.

Might be lip eczema: Persistent chapped lips might be lip eczema, which can be treated like skin eczema, using hydrocortisone plus Vaseline or Aquaphor to retain moisture. Sometimes, lipsticks or lip sunscreen chemicals are causing an allergic reaction on the lips. Other times, a person is a primary lip-licker (it's her habit). Once cracked, lips get irritated by some foods and juices. A doctor can sort things out.

a lot of very small spots all around the lips, white colour and not painful at all... it cames out 4 days ago after using old lip balm. maybe fungus?

Allergy: Mostly could be an allergic reaction. Stop using the balm.
