No: No. If the blood HCG is negative you are not going to see anything on ultrasound. For something to be seen by transvaginal us the HCG has to be at least 1500.

Yes, ultrasound: is capable of visualizing the sural nerve and other cutaneous nerves, but it may be difficult, and it may also be difficult to find a sonographer with expertise.

hello, i took a pregnancy test 2 weeks ago and it was positive. i even went to the doctor that day to make sure. then i get an ultrasound today and it said i was 4 weeks pregnant is this possible?

Of course: All of these positive tests and findings are within the usual time frame for pregnancy.  Hopefully this is something you had planned for and desired.

Very unlikely: If you have any doubt, get a blood test for HCG level to settle the matter. It may have been too early for an ultrasound examination. An ultrasound examination should be done 5 weeks after missed period.

Pregnancy: There is no need for you to have an ultrasound. If you know when your last normal period was, that can help you calculate how many weeks along your pregnancy is.  Wait until the corona risks have decreased and your OB gyn doctor reopens her office and you can then have your first prenatal exam.  It is not necessary now.  But avoid alcohol or other drugs and take a daily multivitamin

Normal: You are experiencing the normal changes associated with growth. If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time, every time and practice safe sex.

Not unusual: That is not that unusual.  Often the sac won't be visualized until 8 weeks.  As long as your BHCG levels are rising and they do not see any evidence of a tubal pregnancy, try to relax and be patient.  Most OB's won't even have you come in untold 10 weeks because that is about the time the heart beat will be noticeable.

i have a retroverted uterus and i'm wondering if the gyneacologist would have missed a baby (if there was one). she said shape of uterus - normal?

: No, they would not have missed a 10 week pregnancy. You have had repeated negative pregnancy tests. Even if by some miracle you were pregnant to start with, not producing HCG by now would have stopped any pregnancy by now. You are not pregnant. I'm  so sorry if you VFC wanted a pregnancy.Put this one behind you and start again. Speak to OB prior to attempting can give you ideas for improving  odds
