Possibly: I like alexander technique because it focusing on retraining proper posture. Many people with chronic neck pain have poor posture in my experience. They have what is called a head forward posture which causes the upper back and neck muscles to fatigue trying to balance the head on the shoulders. Alexander technique and other therapies seek to reverse this.

Technique comparison: The alexander technique is based on years of experience by the alexander brothers from texas. It is constanly being updated. In my almost 30 years as an orthodontiat I have never heard of the feldenkrais technique. We all have our "techniques" and they are based on earlier work of other orthodontists. That being said, all techniques have the same goal- improving your smile.

Promote motion: Medications can help the symptoms of arthritis but there are many exercises that promote health of joints.  Joints are nourished by synovial fluid which requires motion to keep the cartilage surfaces healthy.  Maintaining flexibility, warmth, and avoiding high impact or load is critical.  When swelling is persistent, you should seek the evaluation of a rheumatologist or orthopedist.
