Sinus irrigation: Depends on problem, but sinus irrigation is a very safe &amp; effective way to clear sinus congestion/mucus buildup earlier on. However, a sinus irrigation bottle or a Neti pot is needed for this purpose. Pharmacies/large grocery stores (Giant, etc) carry these products. Use sterilized saline solution (add salt packet to water, boil, let cool, then use). Follow cleaning instructions on bottle.

Depends on setting / other medical issues as to if this is normal for you, but it can be, as long as is not your resting pulse rate (that would likely be fast and should be checked by a dr for presence of other medical issue).
