Normal LFT's: Normal lft's are just that, they are "normal". If your albumin, total protein level and protime are all normal, you have no evidence of liver disease. You can always due a liver scan to see the size of your liver, to make sure it is not small or enlarged, and this time you have no objective evidence that your liver is diseased.

how do i disinfect a phone charger (ac adapter)? i can't wash it. is there any way without using alcohol? can using alcohol result in an explosion?

Antiseptic: you must dry off any antiseptic after cleaning. Certainly use ( OTC) antiseptic wipes on the adapter and then carefully dry with a tissue. Never put a wet alcohol substance into an electrical current. Dry...is key.

No: but lots of other things can, including mouthwash and alcohol in liquid medications.  Recently, it has been found that nurses who were using skin sanitizer, which is 63% alcohol, and rubbing their hands close to their face, were inhaling the vapor and this was enough to give them low positive EtG and EtS tests.

No alcohol: Alcohol is a poison and it never did anybody any good, ever. So stay away from it. It is doubly bad to mix alcohol and medications.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex.

Liver result: Hi there,

You need to send us the liver results. We can tell from the pattern of ggt to alt/ast whether the culprit is alchohol, your gallbladder, your liver etc. The culprit is not always alcohol. Lipids are also a huge concern, as are drugs and autoimmune diseases amongst others. Please arrange a consult/appt with us and we can be more specefic as to why the liver result is abnormal.

What kind analysis?: If you are talking about psychoanalysis, it might have some impact if you drink enough to still be intoxicated the next day, or if you are "hung over." if you mean a urinalysis, it may show up if they are testing for alcohol, or alcohol metabolites (ethyl glucuronide or ethyl sulfide).

my son is almost 16 yrs old...i dont have any idea if he drinks alcohol yet...he has an sgpt result of 305 u/l...can you help me interpret the result?

Blood test: The blood test is abnormal.  This could be due to chronic liver disease due to years of alcohol use, but there are other non liver reasons too.  Talk to your doctor.  Could be many other things besides alcohol.  Needs evaluation.

my serum gamma gt is 130. i dont drink alcohol at all. i take different medications as im disabled & have a lot of pain. could this be the cause of high results? any other reasons? is 130 a dangerous result? any advice?

Need more info: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. will red dawn energy drink make a false positive for alcohol if you drink too much? if not what are some things that can? i had a positive result on my drug screen for alcohol and i don't drink?

: Certain types of food with very low concentration of alcohol, like energy drinks, fermented sodas ,hot sauce ,even hand sanitiser , mouthwash,  balsamic vinegar, sauerkraut, over the counter medications like nyquil  ,yeast ,as well as urinary infection with candida can all cause a positive alcohol test .There is a searchable household product database for foods in the national library of medicine.
