How do i disinfect a phone charger (ac adapter)? i can't wash it. is there any way without using alcohol? can using alcohol result in an explosion?

Antiseptic: you must dry off any antiseptic after cleaning. Certainly use ( OTC) antiseptic wipes on the adapter and then carefully dry with a tissue. Never put a wet alcohol substance into an electrical current. Dry...is key.
