Minimize bathing: One important thing to try is minimizing his bathing to every three days or so.  Be careful about using the stronger steroid on thinner skin. The groin and face you should use a weaker cortisone 1% otc.  Also use a scent free soap like dove scent free.   Good luck!

Few ideas: Depending on the reason why the medications were prescribed there could be various reasons why they are not working. (Ex: applying the medications correctly and as directed? May need stronger treatments, different combinations, etc). Have follow up appt with pediatrician and possibly referral to pediatric dermatologist if warranted.

: Application of steroid creams to the skin surface does not result in penetration deep enough for the drug to enter the blood and affect the adrenal glands. It can result in thinning of the skin layer over time. Taken by injection or orally the steroids do have that potential.

Betamethasone: These medicines are for fungus; the clotrimazole/betamethasone mixture will help do to the steroid component, but it should never be applied to areas of thin skin (axillae, groin, face). The clotrimazole component is for fungus, as well as the other ointments you mentioned

Do you mean looser?: Cream is uised to loosen foreskin iF &amp; when foreskin is too tight to retract easily, i.e corrects phimosis. It does not make foreskin shorter. Pull back foreskin as far as omfortable, then apply to narrow constricted area of skin twice daily until skin is nice &amp; loose. Always return foreskin over glans when you finish, once foreskin retracts all the way. See urologist if unsucessful.

Yes: YYou can use them together. They work by different mechanisms. Use them each in both nostrils.

Cream: Avoid and Tell your doctor if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, have adrenal/liver problems, or diabetes. If your symptoms do not improve after 1 or 2 weeks of treatment, or if they get worse, check with your doctor.

No.: Diprosone (betamethasone dipropionate) is a corticosteroid anti-inflammatory cream; it will make a fungal infection worse. Fungal infections of the scalp usually require an oral antifungal, because creams & lotions can't penetrate the hair follicles where the fungus is located.
