Piriformis: syndrome or compression or some pelvic nerves by an enlarged piriformis muscle, difficult to diagnose

tiny bubbles coming from my urethra maybe my vagina postpartum.  i had a ct and a cystoscopy and my urologist didn't find a fistula. what test next?

Fistula: You can have a fistula between the rectum and vagina or from the rectum and bladder. See a colorectal surgeon for anoscopy and sigmoidoscopy.

i have had pain in my r groin that causes numbness to my leg and vagina, & buttocks, started 1 mth post op. mri & ct (-). any idea? it's been a year.

Nerve entrapment: Sounds like nerve entrapment by compression or a previous scar such as an episiotomy. Nerves such as the sciatic, pudendal or perineal nerve can be responsible for the symptoms you describe. See a neurologist as well.

thought my gi was kidding saying i'm at high risk for rectovaginal fistula based on my ct scan. but i'm leaking stools from vagina now. what can i do?

See a colorectal : Surgeon asap.  It sure sounds like you have that fistula they  were talking to you about. It can be confirmed then your options explained based on your underlying condition.

See your gyno: Please see you gynecologist and s/he will know if a CT scan is needed. Most likely it is not needed.

Vaginal irritation: If you take bubblebaths or shampoo your hair sitting in the bathtub it could cause irritation of the vagina, also if you swim and keep your wet bathing suit too long the clorox in the water can also irritate. If you use vaginal deodorant it can be a problem. Laundry detergent can be irritating.

ct scan abd/pelvis w/o contrast:what it means?bowel:oral contrast identified in small and large bowel loops.no intestinal abnormality,air or fluid.

CT interpretation: Are u sure you have not had any other contrast imaging study within  a few days before this CT you mentioned? If not then the CT you had must have been with contrast. Never the less, it sound like  you have had a normal result with contrast appropriately moving through the small bowel and colon.  Good luck I hope you feel better

Large abscesses: should be drained. CT is a good way to do that with ultrasound another option in certain cases.

No.: That's an old wives' tale. An air embolism is caused by large amounts of air getting directly into the bloodstream, which cannot happen through the vagina.
