: Could be, could not be. No way of telling without examination of anus and stool. Primary care doc usually better equipped than Urgent Care or ER.

Maybe but...: But not common in the US. More common causes are related to hygiene, an irritant (i.el a new soap), hemorrhoid or an anal fissure just to name a few.

Re exam needed: You need to make another apt with your DR.
Inform DR that treatment was not effective.

If DR does not hear from you, they assume that the treatment was effective.

Take : Take two specimens to your doctor. One of your feces and the other of the eggs you extracted. It definitely sounds like a parasite, maybe pinworms. It's hard to say. Your doctor will be able to send the specimen to the lab, get a diagnosis, and ultimately appropriate treatment.

One side or both?: Tingling &amp; burning on 1 side of the face (either left or right) could be a sign of Bell's palsy or a problem with the VII (facial) nerve. Very rarely wd this affect both sides. Herpes zoster works the same way. If you have Sx on both sides, then consider a skin problem or systemic condition Hope this helps, &amp; good luck. Leg lump: could be a new boil that initially swells and stretches skin and itches like zits, could be a fatty tumor, if stays and gets bigger, needs doctor visit...

Many possibilities: There are many things that could cause the skin to itch.  Several types of inflammatory conditions of the skin, allergic reactions, and sometimes bacterial, viral or fungal infections can cause rashes on the skin. Insect bites can also be the cause of a rash on the skin.  Have it evaluated by a professional and get the appropriate treatment.

Insects, Allergy: Allergy to food, infectious mites, perfume, cologne, shaving lotion,  air purifiers to name a few.
Take a look around you and see if you may be doing something different than before you started with the itching. You might still break out with a rash. See a doctor to get it cleared up quickly.

Yes: Some of the medications that can be used in epidural and spinal anesthesia can cause itching in some patients. This is not hard to treat though. There are several medications that can be given for itching if it happens.

Swollen areola: Itching is actually a minor form of pain.  Swelling and redness may indicate an infection.  Check with your PCP.
