See doc: Acute knee pain, sound effects, with swelling can be seen with tears of the acl (anterior cruciate ligament), other issues. Should get evaluated by a doc.

why did my knees with chondromalacia patella got swollen while taking ofloxacin, i took it and i was in bed the whole day and they got swollen! weird!

Ofloxacin? SE: This very easily could be a side effect of the antibiotic you mention. There are some reports that ligaments and tendons can be too loose while taking this medication.

But, that is all I have without examining your knee.

Blood clot: You need to have the leg examined for a possible deep or superficial vein clot. A ruptured baker's cyst or a knee effusion are other possible causes. It needs an exam and possibly xrays and/or ultrasound to sort this out.

Right leg pain: Swollen ankles can be a manifestation of congestive heart failure, dependent edema, liver problems, anemia, varicose veins etc. Right leg pain is worrisome, it may suggest blood clots, phlebitis, cellulitis, vascular disease, etc. Immediate evaluation by her primary physician is recommended, she may need a doppler studies of her legs/vascular surgery evaluation if necessary.

Wait for to six week: The perineal nerve runs along the outside of your knee and occasionally can be injuried with a twist. This can cause toe numbness. Another likely cause may be injury to a disc in your back. Are you having any back pain? In either instance wait about six weeks to see if the numbness stops. If it does not (or if it worsens) see a orthopedist or physiatrist for a formal evaluation.

Arthralgia: Likely viral artharlgia.  NSAID regularly for few days and should improve. Recheck with your provider if not improving.

At : At night , remove the ace wrap, elevate knee by putting pillow or towel under it.  Rewrap it in the morning.  Bet wishes.

See below: The most common and likely cause of cracking/popping in front of the knee is an irritated or early wear of the knee cap cartilage or the surface cartilage of the thigh bone that it rubs. Other causes could include a meniscus tear, plica, patellar tendonitis etc. Some fluid build up in the knee causes cracking. Try therapy, antiinflammatories, ice and sometimes a knee sleeve. See orthopedist.
