Chronic cough: You need to go back to your Dr. May be you relapsed or developed bronchits, probably  you need   a  repeat  chest X ray .  I hope you feel better.  Good luck.

Let me explain: How do you  know it went away?
You have to be sure  clinically and by x-ray.
Go back to your doctor and tell about the cough he will give you something for it.(some thing have Codeine with it, it will get red of the cough).

i had pneumonia in dec2017 and was admitted... it's not feb 2018 and i wake up unable to breathe and have a really painful cough... what is happening?

Go to ER: You need to be seen immediately.  If you are found to have pneumonia again, more investigation will be needed to find out the reason why (mold exposure, immune defect etc).

my son was dx with pneumonia. just found a qtr sized blood spot on pillowcase. not sure it's blood,  but is it normal to cough blood with pneumonia?

Can be: If it is blood the location is undetermined. It may have come from another area of the respiratory tract such as his nose. If it persists or if he is worse instead of better have him checked. All the best.

Vertigo: This may be due to involvement of the middle ear (semicircular canals), to decrease in oxygen to brain, to neurological involvement by organisms like Mycoplasma, or to other factors. Recommend strongly that you go back and see the doctor again ASAP.

i am still coughing up light yellow mucus in the morning  after pneumonia. my cough isn't persistent just in the morning. is this normal?

Mgt: From your description, the mucus may actually be from post nasal drip. I would advise a nasal rinse at night and in the morning. 
If the cough continues for more than 2 weeks, or is associated with pain/fever/distress, please see your physician.

Yes: Cough is a protective mechanism that helps mobilize mucus and debris from deep in the lungs so it can be brought out. It can persist for a month. You should use their other parameters of feeding/play/ etc. to decide if they need to be re-evaluated.

on antibx for pneumonia. now pain in upper bk r side normal? low grd temp, how long before this goes. day 3 of meds also have asthma bron severe cough

Depends: It all depends on the type of pneumonia you have and whether the abx is the correct one.  Most abx , if it works, should be working in about 4 days or less.  If not better, contact the doctor again to find out if another abx may be needed if at all.

hello! about 4 weeks ago i had a 5 day cold with all the common symptoms. a month now ive had a persistent cough that produces green mucus.i feel completely fine besides that. is this normal?could i have had pneumonia and the cough is just lingering?

: Sometimes after an upper respiratory infection, you begin to have bronchospasm from the cough and then the cough continues. You also likely have airway inflammation which will also lead to cough. A bronchodilator inhaler along with a steroid inhaler will likely get the cough to go away. So, see your doctor to get treated. Good luck!
