I would suggest you return to where you had the teeth out, and let them look at the area. Start slowly: Nutrition is important for wound healing after surgery.  Start with a soft diet and drink plenty of fluids.  You can advance your diet and types of food as tolerated. Local or general anesthetic, rides there and home, what you can eat/drink, meds, prior, etc.  If being put to sleep- nothing 6 hours before.
