You may: have underlying gastritis or ulcer. if pain continues or accompanied by dark stools make sure to follow up with your health care provider.

Probably...: ...the single Advil (ibuprofen) pill is less a concern than all the dairy you consumed.  Please consider the possibility of lactose intolerance here.

how people get chronic or erosive gastritis from advil. for me,just 2 pills cause stomach pain as warning sign to stop. others dont get warning pain?

Take NSAID with wate: Common pain relievers — such as aspirin, ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin IB, others) and naproxen (Aleve, Anaprox) — can cause both acute gastritis and chronic gastritis. Using these pain relievers regularly or taking too much of these drugs may reduce a key substance that helps preserve the protective lining of your stomach.Left untreated, gastritis may lead to stomach ulcers and stomach bleeding.

i have 2 pills left of my anitbiotic for a root canal.  having bad lower stomach pain. i believe now from antibiotic.  is advil ok for stomach pain?

Stomach pain: May be side effect of antibiotic, but do't stop taking unless your Dentist or specialist Endodontists says it's OK to quit early.  Advil can cause stomach irritation.  This is one of the few times when Tylenol may be a better alternative.  Also consider yogurt to reestablish normal gut flora.

i took advil with ciprofloxacin, is this bad? i feel a little tingling on my tongue, a little stomach pain, and feeling anxious

Can talk with doctor: A person who had not had past problems taking Advil (or Motrin) separately from taking ciprofloxacin, should not have any problems taking them together, assuming no drug allergies. If she has any changes in symptoms or any new symptoms that she thinks might be from the meds, she should call her prescribing doctor.

Virus in the blood.: Once a  virus gets into cells, it begins to hyjack it to become a virus-making factory. Once there is enough virus, the infected cell will either shed the virus or else, burst open, leaving millions of virus particles in the blood stream. This sults in the sensation of feeling cold and triggering rigors. When immunity kicks in, they are responsible for the  fever and sweats  seen with viral inf.

May be ibuprofen: The new abdominal pain may be from the ibuprofen. I suggest you discontinue it and substitute Tylenol (acetaminophen).  If this does not result in improvement after several days consult your doctor
