Yes, among others: Yes, Clonazepam can be used to treat insomnia with adhd medications. Often, when a person with adhd reports insomnia, turns out that they haven't taken a stimulant for hours before bed, and have always had insomnia. Sometimes the problem has been that they need a dose closer to bedtime so they can shift attention to going to sleep. People with adhd often have an opposite effect from stimulants.

3 for 1: 1.Klonopin lasts 20 hours, xanax only 4-8- so more likely to get rebound anxiety on xanax and more feeling dependent. Keep doses low of either. 2)add = adhd names changed to sell more books.
3)pristiq is a weaker version of Effexor (venlafaxine) with fewer side effects except on your wallet.

i have adhd and a panic disorder. i take vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine) 50mg daily and recently started taking klonopin .5mg prn. will this combo affect my ability to focus?

Although: the Klonopin (clonazepam) is a relatively small dose it may sedate early on in treatment!  If this happens contact the prescribing provider who may want you to start with just one per day (at bed time) Ultimately the sedation will lift!

i'm taking wellbutrin/pristiq/klonopin for depression/anxiety and vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine) for adhd. is that ok with all 4 meds? i feel great!

Multiple medication: Welbutrin  is  medication for treatment of depression.
Pristiq (desvenlafaxine) is  medication for treatment of depression 
and anxiety.
Klonopin is  medication for treatment of  anxiety
Vyvance is a medication for treatment of  ADHD. Its side effect include symptoms of anxiety and depression.
Welbutrin, Pristiq (desvenlafaxine) and Klonopin also have side effects. Please see a Psychiatrist for definitive diagnosis and side effect

can taking adderall if you dont have adhd mixed with klonopin for 2 years cause irreversible brain damage? this is what i did and stopped adderall cold turkey. ive never been the same again and have terrible neuro symptoms. nothing shows in tests?

: There is no drug interactions between adderall and clonazepam, however clonazepam can impair explicit memory and cause anterograde amnesia (cannot remember events after taking the drug). It is a sedative and can cause transient ataxia (movement issues), and psychomotor impairment. Its effects are similar to alcohol use, including symptoms of withdrawal.

Mess: What you say about your medicines makes it sound like a regimen that is quite the mess. The choice of medicines, needs to be guided by a commitment to limiting the number and picking those that interact positively.  The doctor needs to be deliberate and rational. How you take them needs to be consistent and reliable. If not, there are many problems, including withdrawal if you have to stop them.

Polypharmacy: This large mix of drugs has troublesome side effects- especially increased risk of seizure and reduced seizure resistence. Please check with your doc about this combination of drugs and the side effect mix.

Yes: Clonazepam is a long acting benzodiazepine.  All benzodiazepines have anxiolytic, anticonvulsant, muscle relaxant, sedative, and hypnotic properties.  So it does have muscle relaxant properties.  That being said, it is not commonly used as a muscle relaxant.
