Your health department may have assistance to help in quitting smoking.

Brain diseases like bipolar disorder and depression greatly increase the frequency of suicidal ideation and the % of completions.  Personality issues may contribute, and social stress, financial stress, loss of self-esteem and confidence are often important factors to address.

Some medicine cream: A person with signs of angular cheilitis can be checked by a doctor to see if there is a lip eczema problem, an oral herpes problem, or signs of vitamin deficiency. Angular cheilitis is the cracking at the corners of the mouth, with some inflammation and probably some candidal yeast overgrowth. A little clotrimazole antifungal cream and a little hydrocortisone cream for week can make it better.

: You are partially correct. If acute gastritis is caused by food poisoning (bacteria or preformed toxin) or viral illness or chemical (alcohol, give example) problem will resolve quickly. But if you have gastritis due to other causes such as H. pylori infection, problem can be chronic if you do not have specific treatment.

i have hypothyroidism from past 18 yrs and i am on medication and in control. now i have acute cholecystitis. is this because of my sluggish thyroid?

Not likely: If your thyroid has been in control for those 18 years, it did not contribute to your gall bladder disease. It's common in other disorders, however or can occur spontaneously.
