Acne: Acne can be treated effectively by a dermatologist.  Both topical and systemic medications are used depending on the severity of your condition.  Acne can leave scarring so it is important to treat it.  It is much more expensive to treat acne scarring for cosmetic  improvement later than to prevent it from occurring with effective medical therapy.

i am breastfeeding my baby and he has a rush on his face, neck and head for 5 days. is that baby acne ? or how do i know if its baby acne or something else?

: Baby acne is a reflection of retained maternal hormones that cannot be removed by the absent placenta. It usually emerges by a week or two and disappears before 2-3 months. Since you did not describe it or provide the kids age, it is hard to provide more of an answer.

my son has severe acne and swollen cheeks. he also has swollen lymph nodes on his neck and under his chin.  are these related?

Maybe: All teens have a few palpable lymph nodes in the neck. I don't know why his cheeks are swollen, but junior does need to have his acne treated with something strong enough to work -- if you fail to do this, this will be a cause of regret / resentment for a lifetime. Acne is non-lifestyle-related, a grave social problem and can result in lifelong disfigurement. Please get with a scientific physician.

i am 8 weeks pregnant at the moment & my  hormonal acne is getting worst than ever. it's all over my forehead , cheeks , chin , neck. what can i use ?

If it is that bad: U need to see a dermatologist as they can get u on meds that are safe for pregnancy, unfortuneatly most of those do not work as well as the ones that are not safe for preg.

for the past few months i have had a bad acne breakout on my face( cheek bone area and chin slowly moving to my neck) i have tried many remedies both home made and facial washes masks , and nothing seems to work. i need some advice on the next step?

Time for office visi: Although many consider acne a simple ritual of passage in the teen years, it can and does affect some men and women into their thirties or later.Your best treatment will come from a regular skin care plan you work out with your doc / dermatologist. Yes you could have them at 40.

is acne common on the back of the neck? i keep getting there and under my ears dr told me it was acne keloidalis nuchae im a white male i cant find pictures that match mine theyre skin colored with no head i dont think dr was right. can it be acne?

Inflamed follicles: Often a result of plugged skin oil glands or hair follicles which can lead to pimples and small skin cysts.  Recommend seeing dermatologist to recommend antibacterial soap and surface care to reduce the oil secretions and keep the area low in bacteria. Do not squeeze, pick or try to remove them by yourself. This may lead to scarring and worsening infections.

everyday i get 3 to 4 new pimples on the skin around my chin and under my neck. how can i get rid of them?

Avoid pressure.: I might be wrong but it sounds like you're leaning on your chin, a common cause of acne caused by pressure irritation of the skin.  The less you touch your facial skin, the better your face will look.  Never manipulate (squeeze) pimples on the face; it will only lead to more down the road.  Especially avoid squeezing pimples around the mouth and nose which can lead to brain infections.
