Prob allergies: If the inner ears are itchy, it is probably allergies. A sore throat can be both from acid reflux and allergies. Try an over the counter antihistamine such as Allegra (fexofenadine) or zyrtec and see if they help.

Reflux: I'm not sure how the two would be related.  For the reflux, though, try raising the head of your bed about 4 inches to keep acid in your stomach when you sleep.  Feel better!

how a throat itchiness and post nasal drip that resulted from frequent acid reflux can be managed and cured ??? i usually take montelukast/cetrizine combination when that happens but is it the only effective medicine?

: Simple saline nasal spray is often helpful. Avoid smoke, allergens e.g.duat. Wear a mask while outdoors. Discuss whether a nasal steroid spray e.g. Flonase is recommended. The itching indicates a possible allergic reaction, and allergy testing is recommended.

Sore throat: Try a antihistamine as it sounds like you have allergy symptoms.  If symptoms persist for more than 3-5 days get checked for strep throat.

Maybe: Omeprazole can cause diarrhea. Dry cough and itching throat sound allergic. One can be allergic to anything, including omeprazole. Are you on an ACE-inhibitor (usually used for BP)? because those are typical symptoms they cause. Heart burn is the symptom reflux causes and you don't have it - because omeprazole is very good treatment for it!

Environmental allergies can lead to itching throat.  An allergist can assist in identifying the trigger and find a person relief.

Itchy throat: Garggle woth salt and water, it will soothe it, if you have nasal congestion, a saline nasal spray also helps.
