Ache in chest: This sounds like it is musculoskeletal given that you feel it mostly with  movement. Have you had any injury to area? Alarming features that would warrant further work up would be shortness of breath, pain with deep breaths, cough, abnormal "lumps or bumps".

Many : There are many different reasons. Musculoskeletal, GI and possibly cardiac. You need to describe your symptoms a bit more. Duration of the pain, precipitated factors, intensity and alleviating factors. Suggest to see you physician for an examination.

Multiple causes: There could be multiple causes.If there was any trauma to the side of the chest that aches it could be that pressure on that side causes the ache to increase. If you have a really bad flu and there is fluid in the lungs then that could cause the chest to ache.  Some people with very bad heartburn from acid reflux could have chest ache. I would advise you see your doctor to help determine the cause

In between ribs: Are small muscles.  Sometimes they are the cause. There are many other possible reasons, some very bad, some not that important. Worth getting checked out.

Get to the ED: Chest pain, especially left sided achy pain, could be due to a heart attack... Other possibilities exist of course.  Get to the emergency department and get evaluated regardless.

Fibrocystic disease: The most common causes are: fibrocystic breast disease (benign cysts in the breast under hormonal influence) and myofascial syndrome which includes fibromyalgia and costochondritis (sore muscles, joints, and connective tissues of the chest wall).

i get dull aches, mostly on the left side of my chest. i sometimes get a "poking" feeling in my middle tricep. i alsoget occasional slight headches. i got myself checked thricein three weeks but found nothing. what should i do?

Atypical CP: Occasionally diseases involving the cervical spine & nearby nerves can cause the described pattern of pain. Physical exam & MRI +/- nerve test can provide the answer.  If pre-test probability for a cardiac source is low and cardiac work-up negative, its time to look elsewhere. The headaches are mild, but if new, unusual, changing, it should be reported asap.
