i took a combo of acacia fiber , flax fiber and oat fiber 3 times since i have been pregnant i am 2 month pregnant...could it cause harm?

1/2 Way There: Fiber, for the most part, stays in the intestines.As long as you take adequate fluids and don't over doo-doo it, you should be OK.Was that a concoction you made-up yourself? Not bad! Remember,though that there are two kinds of fiber:soluble and insoluble.Sounds like you are taking the insoluble,bulk-forming ones.The other kinds absorb water and turn into a kind of gel which sort-of regulate things

It's very safe : Because it's extracted from the acacia tree. It's effectiveness on weight loss  depends on the individual. Its fiber content supposedly makes you full easily thus lessening  your food intake.Diet, exercise and lots of discipline are still the cornerstone to losing weight.Best of luck!

No other disease?: Each person with constipation needs to be sure there is no other disease causing it. If constipation is just due to slow movement of the food and poop through the gut, then the things to try are vegetables, water, prune juice, prunes, fiber plus water, Miralax or Movicol (polyethylene glycol), Senokot or other senna, milk of magnesia, etc... If problems persist, one can call his doctor on video.

Daily fiber is safe: And required for regularity ( daily bm's).Be sure to get enough b12, calcium, iron, and vitamind, which are common deficiencies in a vegetarian diet.

Fiber: Laxative r a stimulant & u will b come dependent on them where as fiber is a natural way 2 ur colon 2 absorb more h2o & that softens ur stool. Also remain well hydrated. Urinating seldom during the day & dark urine means u need more h2o. More often & almost clear color means good hydration. Stay away from stimulants.

i've been taking chia seeds for the past 3 months.  about 2 tbs 2x per day.  is it too much fiber, protein, etc. to also take flax or hemp powder?

Depends: Most americans do notget enough omega 3 & too much of omega 6.  They should be in a one to one ratio.  Chia seeds, flax seeds can offer high doses of omega 3 which help with inflammation and well being.  The most common side effect if you get to much would be gastric distress, diarrhea.  Hemp is gluten which for many people causes problems so chia and flax are good omega 3 and plant protein.

i took 1/3 cup phylum husk powder with 8 oz. water, blueberries and 1/2 banana. the recommended dose is 2 tsps. per 8 oz. liquid. it was inadvertent. 5g fiber to 2 tsps. now what?!

Fluids fluids : Drink plenty of fluids to prevent a worsening constipation.  Do this over the next 2 to 3 days.
