Doctor can evaluate: Upper abdominal pain can be from "acid" pains, such as a stomach ulcer, just gastritis with no ulcer, or reflux (heartburn). An infection with H. pylori bacteria can lead to stomach ulcer pains (an acid blocker can help). One needs more evaluation by her primary care doctor. Heart disease, rib and cartilage problems, pancreatitis, gallstones, or various cancers can cause upper abdominal pain.

negative ct scan does not mean you do not have a problem
stay on liquid or light diet take either Prilosec or zantac (ranitidine) from over the counter with some anti acid make sure your bowels moving ok no constipation 
if your symptoms does not improve your doctor should referred you for upper endoscopy.

Many causes: Pain in the right upper quadrant (RUQ) can be caused by a wide variety of conditions. Liver disease is usually only painful if it stretches the capsule of the liver e.g. hepatitis. Gallstones. Bowel lesions eg constipation, Crohn's disease, irritable bowel syndrome. Other causes: pneumonia, kidney, skin or musculoskeletal conditions. Consult your local practitioner for assessment and advice

Potential Side effects w emergency contraception: tender breasts; menstrual flow changes (spotting, bleeding, early or late period); loose stools; dizziness; headache; nausea/ vomiting; abdominal pain / cramping or fatigue.
