GI-flatukence: Bloating, belching, foul gas can be from multiple causes: bacterial infection, amebic infection, gallbladder disease, irritable bowel syndrome, and many other diseases of the GI tract. I suggest a GI examination and evalution with blood tests and imaging as well as testing for stool parasites and h, pylori0must be worked up.

Gastroenteritis: There are multiple possible explanations here. My advice would be to see a doctor if, within the next several days, the symptoms continue despite the resolution of the diarrhea. The inflammation produced by the infecting organism (if this is due to infection) may produce residual inflammation causing the abdominal pain and nausea.

Hemorrhoids likely.: This is likely due to hemorrhoids.  The history strongly suggest it, since pain is after a bowel movement, and likely associated with straining.  It could be anal fissure, or possibly another colon/anal issue.  Depending on your age, and if this has been going on a while, you might want to see your doctor to get a rectal exam/testing to make sure it is not worse, like cancer, etc..

Not normal : Many things can cause your symptoms (adhesions, colon issues, anal issues, endometriosis, etc)  but clearly, it is not normal to have "severe" pain with bms.  See your md asap for evaluation.  If the pain is truly severe and getting worse you may need to go to er.

Abdominal pain: If you have significant abdominal pain you should talk to your doctor to find out the cause. Soluble fiber is always a good thing to add to your diet, will soften and regularize your bowel movements. If there is any pain/burning/urgency in your urination (not just drinking a lot and going more often), then you need to see the doc, a urine test to make sure there isn't an infection or inflammation!

i've had left abdomen pain, occasional hard bowel movements and microscopic blood in stool.  now notice  i have some small areas of black tar stool that i haven't yet told doctor.  her working differencal is ibs with diverticulitis. is correct w/ tar?

Melena: Black tarry stool, otherwise known as melena, can sometimes be due to diverticulitis, but certainly can be a sign of bleeding in the upper digestive tract. You should share this new finding with your doctor and see if it affects her working differential. You may need tests to rule out an upper gastrointestinal source of bleeding. Good luck.

Colon,abdominal pain: Many things can cause pain and diarrhea. You need a gastroenterologist. Common things are infections, inflammation, and tumors. Best guess with limited information is infectious, can be vital or bacterial. Most are self limited and better with fluids and time. Pls seek professional help.

does this sound like ibs even with the normal movement.
ive had good colonoscopy and good yelp blood test. today wiped out no energy i just cause no sleep.

: If you were sick last night with abdominal pain, three bowel movements and lack of sleep, it is normal if you feel wiped out today at your age.
You probably ate something wrong with your dinner, IBS should not behave that way. 
Do not worry too much because anxiety and IBS have some causal relationship.

my husbands bowel movements are liquid and he has stomach aches. what should he take?

OTC remedies...: If your husbands symptoms have been long-standing i.e. Greater than 2 weeks duration he should see a doctor.  If more recent onset then he should try otc remedies like pepto-bismol or Imodium (loperamide) ad.  Also, he might want to restrict milk and ice cream as well as high fiber foods such as raw fruits and vegetables till the symptoms improve.
