young male, low wbc 3, plt 148,000, alt 200, ig m 47. darkness around both eyes. when i work out for take a hot shower my whole entire body expands and grows, until its uncomfortable. my arms and legs get so big. is my blood not working right?

Need to examine: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, do not take alcohol, Tylenol, discuss all the medications you take with your doctor, also discuss it you are depressed.

Either: You can correct astigmatism either way.  You need to correct it if you are unhappy with your vision.

Retinal : Flashes are often signs of a retinal problem with the eye.

Accepted Answer

Usually not possible: Depth perception dysfunction is usually due to childhood strabismus, or poor vision in one eye.  These things are usually permanent and cannot be treated.

lying in bed, eyes closed, cough, and i can see white lights at the corner of both eyes. is it normal or should i get checked? (retina detached once)

See  ophthalmologist: This is usually the result of the vitreous (jelly portion of the inside of the eye) pulling on retina and causing bright light flashes.  In view of your history of retinal detachment, you should see your ophthalmologist

Puncta?: Sounds like you discovered your normal drainage path for our tears... You have an upper and lower lid puncta that are the openings to the drainage system!

i have kerdaconus for 18 years both eyes 20 /200 , use to make good money 50 to 80k and now 12000 pr year for 4 years can i get ssi?

Depends what your Dr: says, most notably your eye doctor, and how much your previous job depended on your vision. If you need a seeing eye dog, and cane then this may significantly affect you. Start there, as there's a lot of paperwork involved. It can take months. Plus, SSI and SS benefits in general are changing. You need to use low vision aids and learn Braille to help you navigate through this. Best of luck!

i get headaches  it starts from my right side near my eye then the pain ends up in both eyes then its all over my head the pain is so bad it's 9/10?

Causes of Headache: Of headache can be determined by careful evaluation clinically and by a diagnostic lab test from a medical office.  Stress, hormonal and structural imbalance, blood abnormality, etc...Can be a culprit. If the condition is chronic, the source should be identified. If  the tests are (-), see a TMJ doctor.

i have got diabetic macula odema to both eyes, but they dont want to treat yet as it is not close enough to the macula. does this mean that it will progress and get worse?

: Diabetic macula edema (DME) is due to diabetic retinopathy so a new lesion may occur in an area which needs to be treated in the future even this current asymptomatic lesion doesn't progress . So you need to control your glycemia, cholesterol and systemic blood pressure well for slowing down the progression of diabetic retinopathy. It is important to follow with a retina specialist as recommended.

my 2 year old has 2-3 small grey/blue spots on his sclera in both eyes since born, will he grow out of it? was told common and ok, but i worry

Accepted Answer

Normal: Just like our skin the sclera can have pigment changes as well.  These changes may or may not change over the course of your child's life.  It does not affect the vision.
