i'm a 25 year old female and for the last 8 days i've had small pink spots on my abdomen. the spots aren't raised, nor are the itchy. thoughts?

Many possibilities: This could be anything from a contact dermatitis to infection to a systemic reaction to some underlying condition or a primary skin problem.  Suggest you see either a primary care physician (internist or family doctor) or a dermatologist.

have noticed raised whitish 'spots' appear on my thighs and abdomen. sl itchy. do i have them because of my age?

Very likely: If these spots have increased in number as you age, it is possible that they represent benign seborrheic keratoses.  These are areas of abnormal skin histology caused by the sun. They can be waxy brown in appearance but often appear as whitish raised plaques on the trunk and extremities. They can itch occasionally. If you are concerned, see your dermatologist.

i developed a rash on my abdomen that looks slightly like raised goosebumps. it bothers me but i don't know what it is. help?

It could be: A viral infection, so show it to a dermatologist before it gets any worse.

See doctor.: Circular red rashes can be several different things, from ringworm to nummular eczema, to something more serious like the bullseye rash of Lyme disease. Need to be seen to get more history and an exam for accurate diagnosis.

my 2 year old has 20-30 ~1in. red cat like scratches only on abdomen. not raised - like its coming from inside. like a scratch rash, what is this?

Rash: Hard to say. Could be scratches. Could be hive like rash, etc. If itches give Benadryl (diphenhydramine) for now and have it checked by your doc.

Possible rash : Rashes are best treated by first determining the cause. I would recommend that you see your doctor since it is difficult to diagnose online.

Unsure: These lesions need to be visualized &amp; a history needs to be obtained in order to make an accurate diagnosis.  Sometimes lab testing or biopsy is necessary.

i have an odd allergic to reaction to something unknown ,  it comes randomly and is a single line of raised , horribly itchy bumps on my upper abdomen?

Such: "confined" localized skin eruptions are usually due to a CONTACT (Poison ivy-like) allergic reaction... What are you wearing when this happens??????

i've found a few little red marks around my abdomen and hips that are raised and only itch occasionally. i found another one today, but just one. i suspect either contact dermatitis or insect bites. what do you think?

Accepted Answer

: Insect bites will present like a pimples (circular pattern initially) and if you look at them closely you can see the puncture points. Red marks by contact dermatitis can occur at different shapes which depend where your body are in contact with the source of allergen. Without an image and with the history, I would incline to dermatitis in your case which can be caused by new underwear or soap.
