i have a 9 month old baby girl. i accidentally bought children's acetametiphen instead of infant's. do i need to go exchange it or is there a dosage appropriate for infants?

No need to return: The concentration found in childrens Acetaminophen can most certainly be used in infants.  The infants concentration is actually currently being phased off of the market.  The amount to be given is weight dependent.  Acetaminophen is dosed at 15mg/kg/ dose.  So, i would need to know childs weight.  A 20 lb baby would get 4 ml every 4- 6 hours.

Snoring can: Be normal unless your baby is having sleep apnea from enlarged tonsils and adenoids, then they would need to be taken out by ent.We all do snore to a certain degree. It can be very annoying, unhealthy, disrupting .A lot of people suffer from it but, without any respiratory issues. If concerned , please consult with your pediatrician.

Yes, but...: In a healthy 9-month-old no food, including tuna, needs to be delayed to reduce allergies (in fact, feeding may reduce allergies). Great omega-3s in tuna, but watch out for accumulating mercury, especially during first 3 years. Wild salmon is a better first fish. If choose tuna: small, infrequent portions. And 'light' tuna better than 'white'. Some brands have lower mercury (smaller fish) options.

my pediatrician said my babies head is big. she's 7 months. her body is small. underweight. she is aware and reflexes are great. she is aware family has big heads. she eats well too. i am just concerned.

It happens: A common reason for a big head is heredity &amp; I often measure parents heads in the office. But in babies we follow many such areas with concern because a big head could mean big problems too. In a kid with under nutrition the head would tend to grow normally while the body remains small.  Sounds like the doc is doing their job.

Start with nutrition: You might see a nutritionist first to look at your diet, to determine what your caloric intake is in comparison to your activities.  If, during this evaluation, there is suggestion of a medical reason, such as malabsorption (usually manifest by diarrhea/foul smelling stool), hyperthyroidism, infectious or malignant causes, a referral to a physician is warranted for additional testing.

Have her checked: Looking skinny can be subjective.  She needs proper evaluation especially if she is experiencing recent weight loss or is without underlying medical condition(s) limiting adequate weight gain.

Anorexia: There are 3 essential features of anorexia nervosa: persistent energy restriction leading to significantly low body weight; intense fear of gaining weight or becoming fat, or persistent behavior interfering with weight gain; and disturbance in perceived weight or shape. One could be very early in course of illness, but weight must be significantly low to meet all these criteria.

Hard-core fitness: You want muscle but probably not fat. You gain muscle by focusing on resistance exercises and perhaps using creatine. Many track-and-field stars are "underweight"; the "ideal weight" business subscience in any case and useless in describing athletes. Photoguy isn't complaining. Eat plenty of protein and avoid greasy, salty and fatty stuff.

See pediatrician: Make sure you see your pediatrician in the process. Eating a well balanced diet, outdoors activities with plenty of sun exposure and physical exercise are good habits. Facial features might still change and remain likely close to some of your parents.

Underweight: I assume your height is 5 feet, if so your BMI is 18.5 which is the lower limit of normal weight.
