No: Cervical pressure is unusual at this time.  Would recommend a sonogram to evaluate.  Pain on the side would be more common and is most likely ligament pain.

i'm 8 weeks pregnant, went to the hosp with spotting, cervix was closed.  hosp did tv scan, saw baby, since been heavy bleeding/clotting. is it normal?

Heavy bleeding: If a fetus was seen at "8 weeks" of pregnancy, the active fetal heart should have been seen.  Heavy bleeding after your history of "spotting" at eight weeks is not a good sign, of course.  The causes of early miscarriage are unknown in many cases, but genetic abnormalities can cause same.

Probably not: Discharge without pain or bleeding during early pregnancy is usually not serious.

8 w pregnant ?'s: At 8 w of pregnancy, the uterus is much larger than before preganancy, and may cause a feeling such as you describe. This is not unusual, but if it persists or worsens, see your OB physician for an exam and possible pelvic ultrasound.

when does the cervix go into posterior position? can this occur at 8 weeks pregnant?

Yes it cabn: Cervix position is a little different for all women. 

Many women have a posterior cervix when not pregnant because your uterus is anterverted or tipped forward.  75 percent

so when you get pregnant your cervix will start posterior and rotate anterior towards the end of your pregnancy.

Miscarriage: You probably will have a miscarriage. Irregular gestational sac is not normal. By 8 a heartbeat should be seen.

No: No. If a miscarriage happens, it won't be due to a finger. If pregnancies were that fragile, we humans might have gone extinct many eons ago.

Sometimes : Brown discharge can be from old, deoxygenated blood. Please let your obstetrician know.

Increased: vaginal secretions that become white does tend to occur during pregnancy and is normal.  (Leukorrhea) Seek med eval for redness, burning, pain, odor.
