just had an ultrasound today am supposed to be 9 weeks...last mp was 8/6/15 showing fetus +- 6 weeks in size no heartbeat and hcg levels 35000...help!

Sorry: Unfortunately, with bHCG at 35,000 and no FHT, I am sorry to say, the result does not look good. You need to talk with your Obstetrician ASAP. It helps to repeat the bHCG in 2 days to see if it drops or it doubles. Also, repeat the ultrasound. Sometimes, the worse looking situations can yield surprisingly positive results... like the sonographer being wrong. Good luck.

i 'm approx 6 weeks. hcg 1812  2days ago & 2724 today (52 hrs later).  doubling time about 68 hrs. mean anything? no ultrasound for 10days. thank you!

Difficult to say: It usually requires 3 values to fully determine a pattern.  Since 10 days a hve passed a repeat ultrasound  may be helful.  Please discuss this with your ob.  The values need to rise at least 60% in 48 hours.  It does not need to precisely double in that time.

hello, i have done my hcg tests - 2 tests in 48 hours. first one was 2750 after 48 hours it was 4100. so i went for an ultrasound and they couldnt see?

Need to repeat soon: If you had a transabdominal  ultrasound exam performed under suboptimal conditions, there is a possibility that a small intrauterine gestational sac was missed. If you had a transvaginal sonogram using a 7 MHz probe performed by skilled and certified sonographer, there is a risk that you may have an extrauterine pregnancy. Repeat another betaHCG test and request a vaginal sonogram ASAP..

my beta hcg came back at 788 at exactly 5 weeks today... my ultrasound showed a gestational sac at approximately 4mm big. is this normal?

Usually repeat: Too early. If you are 5 weeks then it is too early to see a fetus on sonogram. Typically the doctor would have you come back for a repeat sonogram in the next 1-2 weeks.

gestational sac, not as good

Too early to tell: Too early to tell.    Need repeat hcg  few times.   The number should double every two days.   Bottom line is not until 9 weeks from 28day cycle to be sure    Most  miscarriage happen before 9 weeks.      Good luck.     Should be on prenatal vitamin now. And beware of cold flu and other environmental toxins exposure

Depends: By transvaginal us, the embryo can often be seen quite early but should be seen by 2000 miu/ml.

By transabdominal us, it should be seen by 6000 miu/ml.

Yes: 2000 is the cut off for definitely being able to see something on ultrasound. You may be able to see something sooner, but 2000 is a good marker.  Considering your HCG doubles every 48 hours or 2 days, it will be a few more days until you can definitely see something.  Hope that helps!

You Don't: If the quant HCG never breaks 1000 miu then the ultrasound will not be able to resolve a pregnancy. How high did the HCG get?

8to12 weeks pregnant: By HCG values you may be 8to12 weeks pregnant and ultrasond you can hear the babies heart beat and may be able to see arms and leg buds.
