is there any interaction between isolate whey protein and klonopin (clonazepam)? i'm asking because protein contains amino acids and i suppose its not a good mix with klonopin (clonazepam).

Protein binding: We mostly have information on protein binding of Clonazepam (klonopin) in the context of organ failure compared to normal.  Any Amino Acid you eat, or any protein is usually well regulated by liver and kidneys and likely has little impact on its metabolism as a drug unless you have organ failure and altered protein metabolism.

i've been taking .5 mg of klonopin (clonazepam) for 7 or 8 years for anxiety, i'm now down to 1/2 a pill at bed time.  i want off the medication completely.  how?

Clonazepam taper: It appears you have reached an acceptable dose of Clonazepam to end a taper. On the other hand, some people have more difficulties to stop this medication, to continue for a variable longer period.

: It’s always best to ask your prescribing physician questions of interaction between medications your taking.  That said, the mini-pill is a Progestin-only medication and will not be affected by Klonopin as estrogen containing combo formulas will.  Nevertheless, many variables will reduce the effecacy of BCP’s including Progestin-only types.  So talk with your physician to learn more.

Maybe?: I give Klonopin (clonazepam) frequently but never seen a patient complain of headaches. Try stopping(gradually, never cold-turkey) and see if the headaches subside.
