Sounds normal: Kids vary in their level of hair growth by age & ethnic background. Much of the peach fuzz hair they have as toddlers will diminish as they age. This all sounds normal.

Yes &amp; no: All infants have hair over most body surfaces that should be very thin &amp; short. They are called velus hair. So hair in the area is expected. If it is thick &amp; dark it should be evaluated by his/her doc.
