HIV oral fluids test: ...is not quite conclusive at 4.5 weeks, probably about 90% reliable. Most current (3rd generation) HIV blood tests, including the rapid ones, are conclusive by 6-8 wk after exposure, 4th gen at 4 wk. Previous advice about waiting 3 months is pretty much outmoded. However, the oral fluids test sometimes takes longer. It's the one test that probably is not conclusive until 3 months.

Yes, conclusive: All available HIV tests, including rapid tests, usually are conclusive any time after 6-8 weeks and always by 3 months. Your results prove you did not catch HIV during that exposure.

Yes: If the test was negative at 2.5 years after potential exposure, you can stop worrying about HIV. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, low fat milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex.

Depends on the test : And the result. A positive result for antibody, HIV antigen or HIV nucleic acid is conclusive in documenting infection. A negative nucleic acid  or HIV antigen will more or less rule out hiv. A negative antibody test would not be conclusive for ruling out hiv.

HIV: Yes.  Except for rare instances (and these are in some question), testing negative at 6 months ensures an absence of disease.  If you want to be absolutely certain you can spend the money and have pcr for viral RNA done.  This will guarantee you are negative if it is not detectable.

: You have no cause for worry. Any source advising more than 6 weeks (or 45 days) misunderstands the test or wrongly is confused with other tests, not AgAb (4th generation) HIV blood tests. The only exception is when anti-HIV drugs are taken for post-exposure prophylaxis. If PEP fails, it can take up to 6 weeks after the last dose of drug.
