cut processed food.: Salad & salmon diet will work wonders.It is 
similar to mediterranean diet.
Cut carbs specially processed ones.
4-5 small meals.Do not eat any big meal after 6pm.Drink 8 glasses of filtered water.
Avoid all sugar substitutes except stevia & agave nectar!

Treat hypothyroidism: A TSH result (more sensitive than T3 (liothyronine) or t4) of 46 suggests that you have significant hypothyroidism, or under active thyroid function.  This may cause slower metabolism and weight gain in some people. The most common form of hypothyroidism is chronic lymphocytic thyroiditis or hashimoto's disease.  Treatment with levothyroxine (t4) will replace thyroid levels and help to normalize metabolism.

could i hav marfans? recently got diagnosed w/ mild mvp. postive marfans wrist test but not thumb test. female, not tall (5 ft 2), arm span not longer than height, skinny, long fingers,  score 3 in ghent criteria. no protuding chests nor myopic. help

Wouldn't think so: If I remember correctly as many as 10% of the female population can show a mild degree of mitral valve prolapse by their teen years and beyond. That makes it relatively common where Marfan's is rare. Your observations make it unlikely you could fit the diagnosis. Discuss it with your doc the next time you go in.
