cut processed food.: Salad & salmon diet will work wonders.It is similar to mediterranean diet. Cut carbs specially processed ones. 4-5 small meals.Do not eat any big meal after 6pm.Drink 8 glasses of filtered water. Avoid all sugar substitutes except stevia & agave nectar!

Work up: I suggest seeing your doctor for a thorough work up. This might be from a low functioning thyroid gland. Other common in reasons include over eating processed starch and sugar and lack of lean protein in your diet as well as lack of exercise. So try to significantly cut down on the intake of processed starch and sugar and increase your intake of lean protein and plant-based fat.
