my three week old baby (ebf) has foamy yellow poop. she's constantly trying to "push", which is usually a struggle. is this normal in newborns?

Pretty common: The yellowish color in stool is the breakdown product of the bile when it has not been in the gut long enough to go through a change to brown. It is normal as is the  loose consistency.Infants have flabby loose belly muscles &amp; often require their fussing/breathing muscles to push poop along.This all sounds normal.

yesterday, i had bowel movement 3 times, every time i'd urge to poop. third time my feces were lightest yellow with yellow mucus. after that i felt a light pain around anus and felt some organ was there. today i feel fine. should i get a chekup?

: This doesn't sound abnormal. Stool color depends almost entirely on foods eaten. But see a doctor if rectal pain continues or if you notice bleeding.

Stool: I would see a doctor about that and have your stool examined to make certain you do not have a parasite or some type of infection or underlying bowel disorder.

since three weeks i removed gallbladder, stool color was normal dark color recently i noticed the stool is light color near yellow. is it normal?

Biliary stricture?: If the liver is unable to get bile into your intestine, it can cause you to have pale or yellow stools. Bile is what makes stools brown. This can sometimes occur after gallbladder surgery which can cause the bile ducts to narrow and cause a stricture. Sometimes stents are needed to open the ducts back up and allow free-flowing bile. See your surgeon if this continues to be a problem for follow up.

i had on/off mucus in stool from last three months due to anal fissure. sometimes i see white, yellow, and even dark brown mucus. stool tests show only mucus nothing else. sometimes rectal cramps and burning.
should i go for colonoscopy or not?

: Yes, if offered. The colonoscopy will offer a better understanding of possible conditions affecting the colon, specifically inflammatory bowel disease and would be part of the workup.

Post cholecyst. synd: The most common postcholecystectomy issue is bile acid diarrhea. Because bile is being dumped and no longer processed.
Microscopic gallstones and biliary sludge , Sphincter of ODI dysfunction part. in woman, also, but both condition needs ERCP for Dx.
Post Cholecystecomy,  does not increase GERD symptoms.
I feel you should get GI w/u for definitive  DX.

my skin is turning yellow and i am so constipated i haven't had a bowl movement in two or three weeks. i have tried a laxative and stool softener with no results.  i have no medicad or insurance.

You : You need to go to your doctor immediately for a complete evaluation for your jaundice (yellow skin) and constipation.  If your doctor can't see you immediately then go to the er.  Jaundice is a serious condition and must be completely evaluated.

Poop Colors: The color of stool is not usually concerning, as it reflects a lot of things we eat. Dark black, red or white stools are the only colors that are worrisome.

Stomach bug - viral: Likely a stomach bug.  Due to the frequency of the stools you should really get him assessed by his doc to make sure that he's not getting dehydrated.  Dietary modification for a couple of days is likely needed.  Speak with your pediatrician.

Yes: The main agent adding color to the poo is the material made by the liver called bile. It starts out a dark green and goes thru the yellows to brown depending on the influences of various factors in the intestines. Rapid transit thru the system, as may occur with diarrhea or breast feeding may have a greenish yellow or yellow appearance. The slower, more likely browner.
