No: Half life of Clonazepam is 12 hours. If you can help it please do not take Clonazepam any more.

Unsafe to increase: do not increase your dosage without consulting your prescriber and letting them know. its a liability issue.
it may be tolerance. it could be other diagnoses also, such as hyperthyroidism, etc.

what is the usual recovery time from using benzos on a daily basis for 6 months (1mg clonazepam)?

Depends: This depends on several factors. Most important is the reason that the clonazepam  was taken in the first place, completely resolved. It is possible that other types of medication and or psychotherapy may have been successfully utilized and the problems are resolved. In this case gradually tapering the clonazpam perhaps to 1/2 mg/day and then even to  1/4 mg over a few weeks would do the trick.

Medication effects: I understand your concern for the safety.
Clonazepam is for Anxiety. Hydrocodone is not a Medication for Anxiety.
Using Hydrocodone with Clonazepam may increase dizziness, drowsiness, and difficulty concentrating. You may also experience some impairment in thinking and judgment. 
Avoid the use of alcohol while being treated with these medications. Avoid driving or operating hazardous machinery.

Prescribing MD: You must check with your prescribing physician before changing his/her instructions, but I feel you could do ok on that schedule, However I wouldn't recommend taking the third dose for at least 8 hours after the second dose. Again, get permission from your MD.

Probably not but: Clonazepam withdrawal Symptoms may include: Headache, Stomach pain, Nausea/vomiting, Tremors, Short-term memory loss, Insomnia, Irregular heart rate or heart palpitations, Sweating, Increased blood pressure, Impaired respiration, Dizziness, Blurred vision, Fatigue, Muscle spasms and cramps, Impaired coordination and motor functions, Diarrhea, Feeling lightheaded, Seizures. Consult prescriber.
