Get and exam...: A "Partial Hysterectomy" can mean different things to different people.    It can mean you had the uterus removed but not the cervix.  Or it can mean the uterus and cervix were removed but not the ovaries.    Either way, since you have had some kind of hysterectomy and now have a colored discharge, you should see an Ob/Gyn for evaluation.

i have periodic shooting pain in my vagina. i am a 64 year old woman. radical hysterectomy leaving one ovary. this was done 31 years ago.

Possible contraction: not clear why would you have periodic pains, but recommend evaluation by gynecologist and imaging, if exam is not revealing

See your GYN: In the process of healing, any incision can develop granulation tissue, which is normal collection of blood vessels and connective tissue.  Granulation tissue can also form at the top of the vagina in the months after hysterectomy.  You should see your gyn to determine the source of the bleeding, and if it is granulation tissue it can be easily treated in the office.

OB GYN Consult: You need to talk to a OB GYN MD who is aware of ALL of your GYN issues to give you the best answer. Future childbearing abilities are also a source of consideration. Remember that hysterectomy has complications that can be life threatening to which you have to balance risk versus benefit.

i have had bright red blood from the vaginal area after a bowel movement, hysterectomy 8 years ago, only a few swipes of blood, happened 6x in 3 weeks?

Possible reasons: To spot after a bm 8 years after a hysterectomy include - a sore in the vagina, hemorrhoids, a growth on the urethra.  If the cervix was left at the time of the hysterectomy then a polyp on the cervix could cause spotting.  The best way to know is to get an exam from your doctor.

i have had a total hysterectomy its been a year now.  ever since i have had bad joint and muscle pain. plus bad vaginal itching its aweful.

See details: The joint and muscle pain is not likely to be related to the hysterectomy. Have it evaluated. The vaginal itching is another matter and speak with your gynecologist about this issue.

Should follow up: Pap smears are still recommended if only one ovary removed. Many excellent treatments for vaginal dryness are available. Please consult your health care professional.

Not normal: #1 please see your gyn could be from atrophic vaginitis, and fistula developed, or rarely vagina cancer, u need evaluation to make nothing serious is going on.

Yes: You could have a vaginal infection that has nothing to do with a hysterectomy. See your doctor for culture and evaluation.

Be seen: There may be an ulcer or other problem causing it.  Be seen for an exam and diagnosis.
