Got an unknown bug bite 2 days ago and the swelling disappeared shortly after initial bite, but now area is red and warm to touch around the bite but there is no pus or swelling at the moment it just itches a bit. if it helps it was a single puncture

May be infected: Insect bites can become infected and develop into abscesses. If possible a doctor should evaluate it and decide if antibiotics are necessary.
