In brief: Lots!

It helps mood, energy level & sleep.
It also helps constipation, bloating, swelling, & back pain. Walking & swimming are good. Avoid activities where you could easily fall/hurt your belly, like hockey, soccer, basketball, horseback riding, downhill skiing, & gymnastics. Tell OB if short of breath, vaginal bleeding or fluid, dizzy, weak, chest pain, swollen leg, contractions, or baby moving less.

In brief: Many benefits

Exercise can be great for pregnancy! it helps with mood, helps to prepare your body for labor and delivery (building stamina), and can be a great time to connect with your partner and talk about your future child.
However, it is important to discuss this with your doctor. Exercises to avoid include scuba diving and any contact sports.
