Frenectomy
The suffix "ectomy" means removal. A fenumectomy is the removal of part of the frenum. The labial frenum is the muscle on the inner part of the upper lip. The lingual frenum is the muscle that attaches the under part of the tongue to the bone in the front of the mouth.
