See Periodontist: for gum graft/reconstruction consultation. Gum grafts used to cover roots with gum tissue where absent due to excessive gingival recession or other gum defects.

You're OK: The reason for a frenectomy is to allow the front teeth to be moved closer to one another. Your old large frenum was preventing that. Now you have a much smaller frenum which will grow slightly as it heals but will never be as large or as low as originally. This is the intended result. The small triangle of gum between your middle teeth may not come back because the angle of your teeth is changed

2 options: If your teeth are tipped toward each other an orthodontist be able to correct their angulations, reducing the size of the space. Also, your Family Dentist may be able to restoratively reshape your teeth to reduce the size of your black triangle.

Periodontist: Make an appointment with a periodontist, a specialist who treats these types of issues. It is possible that a small cosmetic procedure will solve your problem.
