Frenectomy: no this is not dangerous. It is a common procedure done by oral surgeons in conjunction with orthodontic care to close the gap between the front Teeth.

Not very dangerous: Years ago, it was done with regular surgical instruments. Then, for many years, electrosurgery helped make it a much easier procedure. Now, some laser techniques seem fantastic for this procedure.
