I have pleura liquid in both of my lungs. I had an operation and doctors took sample from the liquid pleura, everyting is fine but no root cause found?

My 42 years old sister has been diagnosed on AdenoCarcinoma of left pleura about a year ago,with pleura effusion .is there any treatment except chemo.

Can pleura fluid diagnose cancer if lung X-ray is clear?
