Astrocytoma
Astrocytoma is a tumor that is arising from a specific cell type in the central nervous system (brain or spine) that is called astrocyte. These are the cells that support the actual nerve cells (neurons). It is a common type of nervous system tumor, which has different types, benign to malignant.
