Not technically: The sciatic nerve technically is not formed until the buttock region. At this level, there are no nerves that could cause this symptom. There are nerves however, at the level of the spine, that when pinched may contribute to ed. Check with your spine doctor or urologist to see if they may be related.

Not really: Many people have one or the other conditions so it makes sense that some people have both. The cause of the sciatica symptoms (like a slipped disc) might also cause ed, but more commonly sciatica symptoms are related to the piriformis muscle os would not cause ed. Possible some medications to treat sciatica can cause ed, or there's another issue and pain that seems to be sciatica has another cause.
