Can a std cause my vagina to smell like fish?

Fishy smell: It can, could be due to trichomoniasis, or vaginosis. Both can be treated with oral metronidazole.

Not likely: The fishy smell in the vagina is usually associated with an overgrowth of gardnerella, a bacteria that is commonly present in the vagina. It is not sexually transmitted.
