Chronic lymphoblastic leukemia: is it autosomal or sex linked?

Neither, or both ...: This is surprisingly complex. While there are data suggesting at least a subset of cll having a familial quality (eg., clustering and vertical transmission features, etc.), there are no genes whose dysfunction are definitively correlated with cll. Atm and bcl6 are candidates, but a causal connection is far from made. Data from cgh suggest both autosomal and x-linked loci possible. Stay tuned.

See below...: Chronic lymphoblastic leukemia does not exist. It's either chronic lymphocytic leukemia or acute lymphoblastic leukemia. None demonstrates autosomal or sex-linked transmission, at least not conclusively proven yet.
