STD concerns: Hi david, unfortunately you can't count on symptoms to alert you to having an std because some are "silent" which means that you would not be symptomatic. You can be evaluated now (it won't rule out all problems at this time but may give you some peace of mind). Take care. P.S. Use protection if you are going to have sex.

Test now.: The only way to know if you have n std or not is to get a test done. Also watch for signs such as discharge or burning. You can get tested now. Discuss your concerns with your physician.
