Boil (abscess): You're probably describing a boil or minor skin abscess (pocket of pus). As long as it's drained, you should be fine. But watch out for any surrounding redness or worsening pain. Obviously fevers, sweats & chills are a bad sign. If possible, take a ball point pen to the area & make a tight circle around it. Then date & time it for comparison later. If redness extends beyond, then you need 2 go 2er.
