Stretch & rest: Any pulled muscle can take up to several weeks to heal if you can't rest it enough. In other words, quickly figure out what makes it worse, then stop doing all those things. If it doesn't hurt, then you can continue. Ice is useful initially for injuries. Otc nsaids are useful too if your stomach, kidneys & blood pressure are ok. Go see your doc if any pain going down leg, weakness or incontinence.
