What are chances for getting std/ hiv from one and only unprotected sex ( men with women vaginal)?

Dr. Alvin Lin answered

Unprotected sex: Chances of getting std/hiv from just one episode of unprotected sex are much greater than if you never had unprotected sex. Plus, it places your future partners at greater risk, too. Of course, this assumes that you know nothing about your partner's status. You can't catch something that your partner doesn't have but that implies an element of trust. Just in case, wear a condom each/every time.
