Prostatitis: It may be benign prostatitis. I often recommend the herb saw palmetto for this problem.

Needs further eval: It sounds like you very well may have a prostatitis. It will require possible added antibiotic to regimen. If persisting, Finasteride may also be useful. It also may not be a bad idea if continues to get your colon scoped. You really need to followup with your family physician. Good luck.
