A member asked:

I changed birth control and i'm cramping is that normal?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Cramping with BC: Drinking plain water and cutting down on dehydrating drinks (e.g. Soda / pop, coffee, tea, juice, alcohol, flavored water, electrolyte drinks) sometimes helps with cramping from birth control (bc). Depending on the bc, cramping at first may be normal. Continuous cramping may indicate a birth control method requires change or modification; working with a health provider will make this clear.
